Inherent Language of Life: Inner City and Homeless Children’s Stories I-IV

The identity glyphs, and their respective translations, in this piece were created by children from Positive Tomorrows, a non-profit school for educating homeless children, along with inner-city OKC schools: Cleveland, John Rex, and Lighthouse (who partners with Arts Council of Oklahoma City, Urban League, Teach For America, and Smart Start). These glyphs are presented in the original collaborative layout, but reduced in size to represent the diminished state of education and the lack of funding and support available for educators.
